Diagnostic procedures

• electrocardiogram
  • normal QRS duration
  • left axis deviation
  • small Q in I & aVL
  • small R & deep S in II, III & aVF
  • positive QRS complex in lead I & a negative QRS complex in lead aVF
  • unusual R wave progression in precordial leads may be seen
