Etiology

Histology

increased pigment in epidermis

Clinical manifestations

  • 2-5 mm macule
  • tan in color
  • distribution: sun-exposed areas
  • color darkens following sun-exposure

Management

  • no treatment is generally indicated
  • consider biopsy if diameter > 1 cm or shape is irregular[3]
