Indications
- cagrilintide is used in combination with semaglutide for weight reduction in adults overweight or obese without diabetes[1]
Mechanism of action
- cagrilintide is a long-acting, human amylin analogue
- affinity for three amylin receptors (AMY1R, AMY2R, & AMY3R) & a calcitonin receptor
- regulates appetite through direct effects in the brain
